Working Days Calculator
Project deadlines, payment terms, notice periods, and service-level agreements are almost always counted in working days, not calendar days - and the difference matters. A 30-working-day deadline is six calendar weeks away, not four. This calculator does both directions: count the working days between two dates, or add a number of working days to a start date to land on the exact deadline. Weekends are excluded automatically, and you can subtract any public holidays that fall in the range.

Example
A two-week sprint runs from Monday 6 July to Friday 17 July. Choose 'between dates', enter both dates, keep 'exclude weekends' on. The result is 10 working days from 12 calendar days - the two weekend days are removed.
An invoice is issued on 1 June with net 30 working days. Choose 'add working days', enter 1 June and 30. The deadline lands in mid-July, roughly six calendar weeks out - far later than the 1 July a calendar-day reading would suggest.

Common mistakes

What counts as a working day?
A working day is any weekday (Monday to Friday) that is not a public holiday. This calculator excludes Saturdays and Sundays automatically, and lets you subtract any public holidays that fall on weekdays within the range.
Does it include the start and end date?
In 'between dates' mode, both the start and end date are included in the count. So Monday to Friday in the same week is 5 working days. If you only want the days in between, subtract one from the result.
